What you'll do
A swim adventure through the natural and human history of the stunning river Zêzere.
The history of Dornes dates back to the foundation of Portugal, where, around the 15th century, Gualdim Pais ordered the construction of a Pentagonal Tower to defend the Tagus line, a very rare example of military architecture from the times of the Reconquest.
This half-day tour takes you around 3.5 km of swimming, on a route marked by the harmony between the mountain and the river, a journey through the region's unique wildlife, history and traditions.
Your itinerary
The land of the templars in Zêzere
We meet at Marina de Dornes from where we will depart by boat to Vale Serrão.
Arriving in Vale Serrão, we will start our adventure, swimming about 3.5km to Dornes.
We will finish this unforgettable experience in Dornes.
